Who doesn’t love salsa? Whether you put it on top of your tacos for #tacotuesday, make a loaded burrito, serve it up along side guac, or heck eat it by itself, it never disappoints. Salsa is one of the best condiments, and I would argue you should always have some on hand. I usually buy my salsa from the store but decided to use fresh summer tomatoes as an excuse to make my own! I have always loved mango salsa, and I love avocados, so I decided why not combine the two?! The result, this avocado-mango salsa, a simple, yet utterly delicious salsa, that I want to scoop first to ensure I get the biggest serving (hehe sorry fam).

This avocado-mango salsa is perfect for summer as it is light and refreshing with fresh lime and cilantro throughout. It is made with 8 simple ingredients, and takes no time to put together (or to devour ;P)

After gathering your ingredients, chop up the fruits and veggies, and mix together with fresh lime, garlic, and cilantro. You can eat right away, though waiting even just 10 minutes will make a difference allowing the flavors to combine and intensify. Pair this with your favorite chip for a great appetizer or snack or take your tacos to the next level!

Avocado Mango Salsa

Fresh, Zesty, and flavorful-this summer salsa has it all! Avocado meets fresh mango in this salsa that will leave a party in your mouth! Feel free to double (or triple :P) this recipe, because people will sure to want more!

  • 1/2 large mango diced
  • 1 medium avocado diced
  • 1/2 pint grape tomatoes diced
  • 1/2 cup red onion chopped
  • 1/2 -1 jalapeno diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • juice from half of a lime
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • Prep and chop all of your fruits and veggies.
  • Combine in a bowl and add the juice of lime, garlic, cilantro, and salt and pepper (if desired)
  • Mix all together until juices are fully incorporated
  • For best results, wait at least 10 minutes until eating to allow the juices to intensify.
  • Enjoy with your favorite tortilla chips, on top of your favorite tacos, or with a spoon!


For best results, use ripe, but not overripe avocado and mango! Ripeness gives the salsa full of flavor, but you want to avoid it from getting mushy.
